How To Be More Productive

Tip: Work or study between 9am to 11am.⁣

These couple of hours is when you are most focused and intelligent.⁣

9am to 11am belongs to your Spleen. In TCM, the 'Spleen organ' consists of your anatomical spleen and the pancreas as well, called the 'Minister of Granary', responsible for transformation and transportation. This Minister is in charge of transforming nutrients from the Stomach into vital essence, Qi and 'blood', and then transporting them throughout the body.⁣

Interestingly, TCM theory holds that "The Spleen sends clarity upwards" and it governs efficient thinking, rumination and pondering. For that reason, work or study between these two hours if you desire productivity and efficiency.⁣

If you have been following me for some time, you probably would have remembered that I mentioned "no food, only sips of water" and no coffee from 9am to 11am. We do not want to hinder the Spleen's competent job.⁣

But Starcharon said "Nothing makes a person more productive than last minute". So there. Lol.⁣

Keep calm and let your brain juice flow!⁣

P.s.: This "How to be more..." series made me realised that there really is "a time for everything".⁣
