ANG LIANG TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
"TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM) TREATS A PERSON AS A WHOLE."
TCM is a complete medical system that has been used to diagnose, treat, and prevent illnesses for over 2000 years. TCM Physicians specialise in the Treatment of the Basis of Syndrome Differentiation, 辨证论治, and administer TCM medication and/or Acupuncture correspondingly to treat and prevent various complex disorders. The key to TCM diagnostics is the overall observation of the human symptoms, emphasising the importance of improving the quality of life. The modern practice of TCM is increasingly recognised as an effective form of medical treatment with various medical communities integrating it into their healthcare system, complementing it with Western medicine to ensue rehabilitation.
In Singapore, the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Act was passed on 14 Nov 2000. The Act requires TCM Practitioners who undertake the prescribed practice of TCM to be registered with the TCM Practitioners Board. TCM Practitioners in Singapore are required to be registered with the TCM Practitioners Board and possess valid practicing certificates.
Ang Liang Medical Hall started out as a medical hall in 1980s. We have since moved on to concentrate on TCM consultation & Acupuncture treatment.
